Private Training
Sometimes group training isn’t the right fit for every dog (or every owner) and that’s completely okay! You might be looking for a more personalised approach, or maybe group environments feel a bit too overwhelming for you or your dog.
Whatever the reason, we offer flexible options to suit every individual’s needs.
Alternatively, have you got a new puppy and are looking for a combination of both? Why not look into our 'Complete New Puppy Training Package' here.
1
Bespoke 1-2-1 Behaviour Support
1-2-1 training is ideal for anyone looking for a fully tailored session - whether you need help with one or two basic training issues, or something more complex. These sessions allow us to take a deep dive into your dog’s behaviour, understand what’s really going on, and create a personalised action plan that works for both you and your dog.
2
Trainer-led Training Walks
Training walks are designed for busy owners who still want to prioritise their dog’s training. At a scheduled time that suits you, Paws & Progress will take your dog out and work through a pre-agreed behaviour plan, focusing on key goals during the walk. These sessions provide focused one-on-one training in real-world settings - helping to build reliable behaviours while giving your dog valuable mental and physical stimulation.
3
Stooge-Dog Practice Sessions
Stooge-dog sessions are ideal for dogs who need help building confidence, improving general obedience, or working through reactivity around other dogs. These fully tailored 1-2-1 sessions allow us to observe your dog’s behaviour in a controlled setting alongside our calm, experienced stooge dogs. Here, we take the time to understand what’s really going on, and from there, begin a personalised action plan that helps you and your dog move forward with confidence.

Off-lead Trial & Transition Support
The off-lead trial & transition support sessions are available for anyone preparing to transition their dog to more off-lead freedom, or for those who simply want the reassurance of having an experienced trainer present the first time you let your dog off lead. These sessions offer a supportive, low-pressure environment where we can assess your dog’s readiness, troubleshoot any concerns in real time, and guide you both toward a confident and safe off-lead experience.
